Join us on July 4th at 4 p.m. for a relaxed summer dinner in a beautiful flower garden, surrounded by wonderful people.
We'll build our menu around what is at its seasonal peak—sun-ripened tomatoes, fragrant herbs, fresh fruit, vegetables, homemade baking, naturally fermented vegetables, and a few of my favourite flavour combinations.
Some of the dishes we'll prepare together, because for me food has always been as much about the process as it is about the final plate. Together we'll make a refreshing cold beet soup and vibrant seasonal salads before gathering around a long table filled with homemade pies, sourdough bread, whipped butter, and the very best of the season.
This evening is inspired by the kind of summer gatherings I wish happened more often: one long table, local produce, flowers, meaningful conversations, and no rush. A celebration of summer, simple food, and the joy of sharing it with others.
